'Above the tallest tree', 2024

Working with foraged plants and materials through slow and embodied processes, this project gives voice to an ongoing dialogue with the earth. Pieces reconcile as a collection of traces, seeking alternative ways of being and relating. Through nurturing connection to place, materiality is explored as a source of connection; guiding and drawing us back home.

Above the tallest tree
beneath the land and sea
there are infinate ways, life breathes light
through colour

Installation: wild clay vessels, handmade paper hung from nettle fibres.

These works map and trace an ongoing dialogue with different natural environments in Glasgow, Scotland. Materials that are gathered, processed then worked with, in intimacy and connection to place.
